State Regent’s Scripture:

Stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught.

(2 Thes. 2:15)

State Regent’s Theme:

That we act now, in the present,

to preserve our history and traditions of the past to ensure a strong, secure future.

State Regent’s Goals:

1. To inventory and catalogue all chapter and state records, and store them in a safe repository (TSSDAC records in the Texas State Archives, Austin),

2. To participate in all levels of the Daughters of the American Colonists,

3. To rededicate ourselves to the Object of the Society, and

4. To continue increasing membership.

State Regent’s Project:

To contribute to the renovation project of the Texas State Archives in Austin where the official records and history books of Texas State Society Daughters of the American Colonists are catalogued and preserved.  (Specialized library and conservation equipment, library furniture and lighting were not included in the renovation project approved by the Texas Legislature.)
